Ceramic Coating

Hilliard, Ohio ceramic coating

We provide professional ceramic coatings and everything you need to prepare your vehicle for them. Most vehicles have been exposed to poor washing conditions and as a result, have scratches and swirl marks. We typically recommend a paint correction process to revive the condition of your vehicles paint in order to prepare for a ceramic coating. We will never install a ceramic coating without ensuring the paint is in a condition to receive it. Poor preparation and installation of a ceramic coating becomes even more costly to repair than if it was done correctly the first time.

  • Ceramic coatings provide an incredible level of gloss and saturation. The coating can make your vehicle maintain a “wet” appearance to give you a showroom shine!

  • Ceramic coatings make water bead up on top of it, which makes cleaning your vehicle a breeze. It also allows rain to pull more dirt away from the paint.

  • Ceramic coatings create a hard, chemical resistant finish on top of your paint. Get peace of mind knowing that your car is protected from the elements and light swirls.

Ceramic Coating Maintenance

    • Ceramic coatings are often marketed as “self-cleaning” coatings. While coatings protect and enhance the paints ability to stay clean, the car still needs to be washed.

    • Regular washing removes dirt, grime, and environmental pollutants which can build up over time.

    • Keeping the coating clean enhances its reflective glossy properties and preserves its hydrophobic properties

    • Washing correctly protects the coatings integrity and lifespan. Ceramic coatings are not bulletproof. They improve the paints resistance to scratches and swirls, but when disregarded, a coating can fail earlier than expected.

  • Do not take your car to an automated car wash. The brushes are made with rough materials that will ruin your ceramic coating within minutes. We prefer touch-less washes, but still recommend against them.

Automated and touch-less car washes tend to use harsh soaps that are not PH neutral.

We recommend bringing the car to us for regular maintenance washes (every 2 weeks or 3-4 weeks maximum) as we can cater our wash process to the coating. We offer discounted washes for cars coated by us

  • Ceramic coating manufacturers advise owners to a ceramic coating booster to support and protect its lifespan. For example, System X recommends a booster once per year.

  • Ignoring regular maintenance can result in the following:

    • Loss of gloss and shine

    • Water spotting

    • Accumulation of contaminants

    • Reduced hydrophobicity

    • Swirl marks and scratches

    • Shortened lifespan

    • Costly repairs

Why Professionally Ceramic Coat a Vehicle?

  • Protection Against Scratches and Swirl Marks

A ceramic coating is a hard, durable layer that can help protect your car's paint from scratches and swirl marks. It can also make it easier to remove contaminants like bird droppings, tree sap, and bug splatters, which can all cause damage to your car's paint.

  • Protection Against UV Rays

Ceramic coatings can help protect your car's paint from fading and damage caused by UV rays. This is especially important if you live in an area with high levels of sunlight.

  • Easier Maintenance

A ceramic coating can make it easier to maintain your car's appearance. It can repel dirt, dust, and other contaminants, making it easier to wash your car and keep it looking clean.

  • Long-Lasting Protection

A ceramic coating can last for several years, providing long-lasting protection for your car's paint. This means you won't have to worry about reapplying a protective layer as often as you would with other types of coatings.
